BUSINESSMANPeter Rooney is a successful businessman based in Highland, whose products are sold around the world. Along with his wife, Ande, Peter has created a niche in the gift industry that has won world-wide recognition. He will use these skills in government as your new State Assemblyman. FARMER AND RANCHERPeter Rooney owns a farm in Ulster County and is an award winning
buffalo rancher. He understands and respects the land, he supports
the agricultural community, and he knows the importance of protecting
the environment.
INSTRUCTORPeter Rooney spent 17 years teaching in our local schools. He knows what it’s going to take to insure a quality education for every child and at a cost we can afford. Peter is also an FAA certified flight instructor, teaching young men and women to respect the field of aviation and follow their dreams. Peter Rooney has a strong record of recognizing problems and solving them. He is not a politician, more significantly, he will not be a career politician! He believes in term limits, fresh ideas and being accountable to his constituents. He will shake things up and never be satisfied with the status quo...
